Aarambh is built for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We don't borrow compliance from US or EU regimes that don't apply here. These are the commitments the Act actually asks for.
Consent at intake
Candidates see a clear notice that AI assists screening, and consent is recorded when they apply. Consent can be withdrawn, which triggers erasure.
Purpose limitation
Resume and personal data are used only for recruitment for the role applied to. Never resold, never used to train models.
Your rights
Access, correction, and erasure, with a named grievance officer to contact. Erasure removes personal data while keeping a minimal audit record.
Security
Encrypted storage, malware scanning on every upload, role-based access, and a full audit trail of who did what.
Stored in India. Transparent about every transfer.
Candidate personal data is stored at rest in India, in the Mumbai region. AI screening is performed by a model provider that may process data outside India, a transfer the DPDP Act expressly permits. Under the Act, cross-border transfers are unrestricted except to jurisdictions the government formally designates, and none are designated at present.
We state plainly where processing occurs rather than obscure it behind general cloud language, because the buyers who care about this verify it.
